Wrestling Finishes Seventh At Virginia Duals

HAMPTON, Va. – The Greensboro College wrestling team finished in seventh place at the 2018 Virginia Duals Friday.

The Pride dropped their first two duals of the day to Liberty University and Alderson Broaddus before topping the Cougars of Averett University in the seventh place dual, 24-23.

Dylan Cook(Ragsdale High School), Ryan Dominque, Conan Wilson, Tyron Dudley and Carlos Ortega(Smith High School) each had two victories on the day.

Cook’s two wins came via falls against Keegan Smith of Liberty and Breandon Coughlin of Alderson Broaddus.

Haskin, who topped Blake Justis from Liberty via a 12-10 decision, also tallied one fall victory.

Wilson paced the Pride in technical fall victories with two, while Quaevon Cannon and Dudley had one technical fall victory each.
