Locals getting it done for N.C. State Baseball with Evan Edwards(SG), Patrick Bailey(WES) and J.T. Jarrett(NG) stepping up

The local Guilford County kids are doing OK for themselves in college baseball, on the ACC level, with first baseman Evan Edwards(Southern Guilford HS) going 1-3, with a HR and 2 RBI for State on Saturday in the Wolfpack’s 6-1 victory over Clemson and you had catcher Patrick Bailey, from Wesleyan Christian Academy, going 2-3, with 2 runs scored for the Pack and then J.T. Jarrett, State’s second baseman from Northern Guilford HS, had a sacrifice for the Red and White and all turned out to be a good night/day for N.C. State….

N.C. State picked up the 6-1 win over Clemson and after Saturday’s victory, N.C. State has begun their 2018 season at (17-3) and last check they were leading Clemson in the third game between the Tigers and the Wolfpack this weekend, with State up 5-4 in the ninth, and going for the three-game sweep over Clemson…..
*****N.C. State has just won that Sunday afternoon game over Clemson and now State sits at (18-3) on the season and in today’s victory by the Pack, Evan Edwards goes 1-4 and Patrick Bailey went 1-2…..*****
