Greensboro Grasshoppers Ready For Hoppin’ Fun
The Greensboro Grasshoppers are excited to showcase several new and exciting things for the 2018 season, beginning on Thursday, April 5 with gates opening at 6:00 pm and game time set for 7:00 pm.
The season begins with the launch of a Grasshoppers-branded beer on Thirsty Thursday. This year the Hoppers will offer select $2.00 12oz. cans to include our NEW branded beer. “We believe that fans will find our Thursday discounts very popular and our service should be significantly faster,” said Grasshoppers President and General Manager Donald Moore. “We will continue to offer discounted draft beers across the board on our Money off Mondays, in addition to $1.00 hotdogs and Pepsi products.”
Hoppin’ Fun is predominant in the 2018 promotional schedule. This season fans will be treated to a Royal Wedding, Jurassic Park, a Trip to the Moon, Throwback Night to the Greensboro Hornets, and a tribute to What is Love – highlighting the iconic “What is Love” song by Haddaway – celebrating the 25th Anniversary. “Our promotional staff has worked very hard this off-season and has come up with some fun and new themes that I believe our fans will thoroughly enjoy,” said Moore.
Greensboro and First National Bank will host the 2018 South Atlantic League All-Star Game on Tuesday June 19. This game showcases some of the finest talent in Minor League Baseball and the first time Greensboro has hosted the event since 2008.
