College Women’s Tennis Final – Randolph 9, Guilford 0

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Randolph College posted a 9-0 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) women’s tennis win at Guilford College Saturday. The WildCats, coached by former Guilford standout Jamie (Campbell) Megginson ’95, improved to 6-3 on the year and gained a share of fifth place in the league standings at 3-2.

Randolph swept the three doubles matches by identical 8-0 scores. Aubrey Hawn and Keyu Jin claimed the first-doubles contest over Brooklyn Hopkins and Makayla McLaurin.

Jin went on to take a 6-0, 6-1, victory over McLaurin at first singles. Hawn was a 6-0, 6-0, victor over Guilford’s Olivia La Ganza at third singles. Ashley Schmitz downed Hopkins at second singles, 6-0, 6-1.

Coach Dave McCain’s Quakers (0-9, 0-6 ODAC) visit William Peace University Wednesday (4/4) in a nonleague contest.
