Southern Alamance Patriots Varsity had all cylinders firing on offense on Wednesday, winning big over Northern Nash 11-2

In the first inning, Southern Alamance Patriots Varsity got their offense started when Abi Stuart homered on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.

Southern Alamance Patriots Varsity scored five runs in the third inning. Isley Duggins, Layla Burnette, Allison Moore, and Stuart all drove in runs in the frame.

Duggins was credited with the victory for Southern Alamance Patriots Varsity. She lasted seven innings, allowing six hits and two runs while striking out 14.

Jenna McKenney took the loss for Northern Nash. She allowed 12 hits and 11 runs over six innings, striking out seven.

Southern Alamance Patriots Varsity smacked one home run on the day. Stuart went deep in the first inning.

Stuart had 17 chances in the field, the most on the team.
