Former Carolina Panther and current Charlotte Catholic assistant football coach Frank Garcia arrested on Saturday for Misdemeanor Assault on a Female


Former Carolina Panthers’ offensive lineman Frank Garcia was arrested Saturday, charged with misdemeanor assault on a female.

Garcia is currently a host of an afternoon talk show on WFNZ, 610-AM(Charlotte) called “Garcia and Bailey.” He is also an assistant high school football coach with Charlotte Catholic, which will play for a N.C. 3-A state championship Saturday.

Garcia, 46, was arrested Saturday at 4:30 p.m., according to Mecklenburg County records. He was booked into the Mecklenburg County jail Saturday at 8:08 p.m. He is listed as a state inmate. According to jail records, Garcia does not currently have a release date, but has a court date Monday at 9 a.m.
