In South Carolina:Northwest Guilford (NC) scored a 46-32 victory over Arlington (TN) in the opening round of the 2018 CresCom Bank Holiday Invitational at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center.

TURNING POINT: After leading 19-11 at halftime, Northwest Guilford opened the second half with a 16-2 run to take a commanding 35-13 advantage with 12:00 to play.
NORTHWEST GUILFORD STAT LEADERS: Thalia Carter, Reagan Kargo and Cayla King each scored 13 points for the Vikings. King also added 13 rebounds and four assists.
ARLINGTON STAT LEADERS: Lanetta Williams led the Tigers with 10 points and eight rebounds.
