Game Report on Northwest Guilford-Startford, S.C. Boys Basketball:Reiber with 16 pts./10 rebounds and Hampton with 14 pts. and 7 rebounds boost NWG Vikings in victory

NORTHWEST GUILFORD 48, Stratford H.S.{SC} 37
GAME NOTES:
–Northwest Guilford and Stratford High School (Goose Creek, SC) faced off in a hard fought battle played at Summerville High School in Summerville, SC. The Vikings got off to a hot start sparred by transition baskets and points in the paint. The score at the end of the first quarter was 17-7. The second quarter proved to be more of the same for Northwest, holding Stratford to just 6 points in the quarter and 13 in the first half. In the beginning of the second half Stratford found their stride; the Knights strung together multiple threes and transition buckets that went unanswered. The Knights continued their stretch into the fourth quarter, ultimately outscoring the Vikings in the half but came up short in the end with a final score of 48-37.
–Dean Reiber led the Vikings with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Christian Hampton paced the team with 14 points 7 rebounds and 3 assists. Shaq Marsh chipped in 6 points while Brandon Thomas had 4 points. Khari Carson, Johnny Pagano, Robbie Boulton and Noah Allred all had 2 points a piece.
–Walker led the Knights with 12 points. Johnson had 8 points while Mclendon chipped in 6. Washington and Adams shared 4 points a piece. Coakley had 1 point.
