Jason Tuggle To Be Inducted Into USA South Athletic Conference Hall of Fame

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Jason Tuggle has been named as a member of the 2019 USA South Conference Hall of Fame, the conference announced Tuesday.

Tuggle, a 2012 inductee to the Greensboro College athletics hall of fame, served as the head women’s basketball coach for the Pride from 2002 to 2009.

Tuggle’s teams posted a 138-58 record and earned three USA South regular-season championships, as well as three tournament titles.

In addition to their three appearances in the NCAA Tournament from the tournament titles, Tuggle’s squads also made the tournament two times as an at-large team and advanced to the second round three times.

In his final season at Greensboro, Tuggle’s team became the first team in USA South history to finished conference play with a perfect 18-0 record.

Tuggle was also named as the conference’s Coach of the Year five times, tied for the most in conference history.

Tuggle will join the four other inductees for an induction ceremony on Tuesday, June 11, at Averett University.
