Wyndham Rewards Top 10 Unchanged after Matthew Wolff Wins 3M Championship

WYNDHAM REWARDS TOP 10 UNCHANGED AFTER MATTHEW WOLFF WINS 3M CHAMPIONSHIP

GREENSBORO, N.C. – – Matthew Wolff eagled the 72nd hole to take a one-stroke victory over Bryson DeChambeau at the 3M Championship near Minneapolis, Minn. yesterday – it was his first PGA TOUR victory in his third start as a professional. With the win, the 20-year-old earned a two-year PGA TOUR exemption, a spot in the 2020 Masters, PLAYERS Championship and PGA Championship. This newly minted PGA TOUR golfer will debut at 73rd in the FedExCup standings when his new PGA TOUR membership becomes official. Matt Kuchar continues to lead the Wyndham Rewards Top 10 standings which did not change.

After the 3M Championship, the top-five players in the FedExCup point standings and the Wyndham Rewards Top 10, Kuchar, Brooks Koepka, Rory McIlroy, Xander Schauffele and U.S. Open Champion Gary Woodland, are separated by 498 points; the player who wins the Wyndham Championship set for July 30 – Aug. 4 will earn 500 FedExCup points. Should the top-five positions be separated by less than 500 points entering the Wyndham Championship, each of the top-five players at that time would have a shot at taking the points lead after the Wyndham Championship and earning the $2 Million Wyndham Rewards Top 10 first-place bonus.

The top-10 Regular Season finishers in FedExCup points following the Wyndham Championship July 30-Aug. 4 – also sponsored by Wyndham Rewards – will reap the benefits of the Wyndham Rewards Top 10. The regular season points leader will earn $2 million, followed by $1.5 million for the runner-up with the 10th-place finisher earning $500,000. The bonus breakdown is below:
