  1. It did not take long at all for this one to go down, here it is 11:12 and the answer is in..

The Winner is Michelle Boddie with:
    Dick Butkus- 51 Bears
    Jack Lambert- 58 Steelers
    Jack Ham- 59 Steelers
    Lee Roy Jordan- 55 Cowboys
    Chris Hanburger- 55 Redskins
    Mike Singletary- 50 Bears
    Matt Millen-55 Raiders
    Brian Urlacher- 54 Bears
    Nick Buoniconti- 85 Dolphins
    Luke Kuechly- 59 Panthers

    Michelle Boddie

Congrats to Michelle on a job well-done….

    WINNER, Michelle Boddie…

Some great LB’s from over the years, and I just saw an NFL Films special on Matt Millen this week. He received a heart transplant back in December of last year and he is still battling…

He said he had death covered, he just needed to take care of the living part….

Some great football memories, when you think back to these linebackers….

And look at all those 50’s from a time when you could still read a player by his position number, at least you could for the most part….

  2. Dick Butkus #51
    Jack Lambert #58
    Jack Ham #59
    Leroy Jordan #55
    Chris Hanburger #55
    Mike Singletary #50
    Matt Millen #55
    Brian Urlacher #54
    Nick Buoniconti #85
    Luke Kuechly #59

  3. Milton Jenkins in there on it too, but just a tad late to the Quarterback, as Michelle got in there from her LB spot, got there just a bit earlier….

Who is one that may have left out, that maybe should have been in there????

I will leave it at #56, as his name came to my mind as I was driving on in to town, and to the East this morning…..

No prize on this one, but who would be wearing that famous #56, and he was really sort of a hybrid-type LB, as many of them have been over the years…

#56, and he too, was one of the greats…

Another interesting name would be Randy White….He was a LB at Maryland, while in college, but the Dallas Cowboys made him/turned him into a defensive lineman, and he still wore his famous LB #54 as he played the DL for Dallas….White tried to get Matt Millen to attend Maryland and become a Terrapin, but Millen had other ideas and went on to Penn State, where he played for Joe Paterno….I’m thinking Millen started out playing DL in college and then they moved him to linebacker, and the rest is now history, and good history, at that……

  4. That other name we are looking for is Lawrence Taylor, LB and #56 for the New York Giants…..LT, from UNC….
