The started the clock back up today at Tommy Grayson Field on the Eastern Guilford High School campus, and as they completed the game that was suspended/halted back on Friday night, as the clock ran down from the 6:32 mark of the Fourth Quarter, and finally hit the 0:00 ending, our Final Score was Eastern Guilford 35, Burlington Williams 7….

Eastern Guilford now (3-3) and Williams(3-3)…EG (1-0) in the Mid-Piedmont 3-A Conference and Williams falls to (0-1)…

Ok, so I get the fact that coach felt like there was a bigger picture “not quitting not giving up, finishing what you start” but the score was 35-7 with 6 minutes left, chance of injury, short week to prepare and not too mention no one came back to support them. Coach Ag made a great point, it will take longer to do the laundry than finish the game.
