GAME NOTES:
–Northwest Guilford played an away game against Eastern Guilford tonight. The Vikings took the early lead in this game and did not look back.

Through solid team defense deflecting the ball nearly 30 times and accumulating 20 steals the Vikings shut down the Wildcats. The Vikings went into halftime up 39-31 and would extend the lead by as many as 22 points on a run out of the half and late into the game.

However, the Wildcats would cut the lead to 9 points but ultimately lose the game 73-62 to the Vikings.

— Chris Hampton led the Vikings with 24 points, 7 assists and 7 rebounds. Robbie Boulton would add 12 points and 5 assists while Dean Reiber added 11 points, 8 rebounds and 4 big blocks. Brandon Thomas played excellent defense in this one accumulating 11 deflections, 6 steals and adding 10 points. Josh Humphrey made 2 big 3’s out of the half and had 6 points, Shaq Marsh had 5 points, Connor Ballou had 3 points and Khari Carson added 2 points.
