Game Report on Northwest Guilford-Page Boys Basketball:NWG Vikings improve to (2-0) in Metro 4-A, as Reiber rips the nets for 25 points/Hampton adds 15/Josh Humphrey goes for 11 points and 10 rebounds

–Northwest Guilford and Page faced off in a Friday night battle at Northwest Guilford. The Vikings would start off slow and the first quarter was a back and forth quarter ending in Northwest being up by 3, 14-11.

The Vikings would gain a little separation in the second quarter from some 3-point baskets and enter the half up 38-24.

The second half of this game was all Northwest. The Vikings would get some baskets in transition off great defensive possessions and steals. The Vikings would end up winning 81-59.

–Dean Reiber led all scorers in this one with 25 points. Chris Hampton added 15 points along with 7 assists, Josh Humphrey had a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds, Connor Ballou had 9 points with 3 assists and 3 rebounds, Robbie Boulton had 7 points along with 6 assists, Brandon Thomas had 6 points and 4 assists, Drew Watkins had 4 points, and Jackson Hartzell and Xavier Simmons had 2 points each.
