Elon Men’s Tennis Falls at Duke

DURHAM, N.C.- The Elon University men’s tennis team dropped its match against Duke, 6-1, on Monday, Jan. 20.

“Duke is a strong team with tremendous depth,” said head coach Michael Leonard. “I thought Nick played with a lot of fight to pull out a win. We have a few days to work on some things in practice before we head to UNC for the ITA Kickoff!”

Nicholas Condos earned the lone win for the Phoenix. The freshman defeated Duke’s Luca Keist 3-6, 6-4, 10-3.

Elon will be back on the road on Saturday, Jan. 25 when it travels to Chapel Hill to take on North Carolina. Competition is scheduled to begin at noon.
