Game Report on Northwest Guilford-High Point Central Boys Basketball:NWG Vikings win low-scoring contest with seniors Dean Reiber and Chris Hampton setting the tone

GAME NOTES:
–Northwest Guilford played host to High Point Central tonight in a Metro 4A conference battle.

Northwest went up early in the first quarter 17-7 but High Point Central battled and Northwest only scored 6 in the second quarter going into halftime up 23-13.

The Vikings extended the lead in the second half behind some great defensive plays yielding steals and some fast break opportunities. The Vikings would go on to win 56-41.

–Dean Reiber led all scorers in this one with 22 points and he had 11 rebounds giving him a double-double. Chris Hampton also had a double-double in this one with 18 points and 10 assists. Robbie Boulton had 7 points and 5 assists, Connor Ballou had 5 points and Jackson Hartzell and Josh Humphrey had 2 points each.
