Elon Men’s Tennis Drops Conference Opener at William & Mary

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The Elon University men’s tennis team suffered a 5-2 loss to William and Mary in its conference opener on Sunday, March 1.

“I thought it was a very competitive match against a strong William & Mary team,” said head coach Michael Leonard. “It was great to see Kyle play such a solid match. Even though we lost, we are moving in the right direction. We just have to keep working.”

HIGHLIGHTS
Kyle Frankel and Nick Condos were responsible for Elon’s points. Starting in doubles, the pair captured a 6-2 win. In singles, Frankel defeated William & Mary’s Joseph Brailovsky, 6-3, 6-1 while Condos followed with a 2-6, 6-3, 6-3 victory.
