MT. GILEAD, N.C.—Zach Swink led all golfers with a one-over-par 73 as Greensboro College took the Monday afternoon head-to-head Pfeiffer Shootout at Tillery over Pfeiffer University at Tillery Tradition Country Club.

Swink tallied four birdies on his round split evenly between both sides of the course. Swink’s birdie on the par-three, 186-yard fourth hole was the lone birdie on the hole for the entire field. The sophomore posted back-to-back birdies on the par-five, 487-yard ninth hole and the par-five, 503-yard tenth hole on the way to his tournament victory.

Eddie Gleeson posted the Pride’s second-lowest score while leading the “B” team. Gleeson shot a five-over-par 77 on the power of birdies on three of the first five holes. On the back-side, Gleeson carded a birdie on the par-four, 478-yard 15th hole to score one of the field’s two birdies on the long par-four.

Troy Stribling Jr. posted the second-highest score for the “A” team, matching Gleeson’s 77. Stribling also carded a birdie on one of the course’s long par-four holes, posting a birdie on the 457-yard seventh hole for the field’s only birdie on that hole. Like Swink, Stribling also posted birdies on the ninth and tenth holes on the way to his five-over-par score and third-place finish overall.
