The Minnesota Timberwolves followed in the footsteps of the Minnesota Twins, which canceled their game against the Boston Red Sox on Monday “out of respect” following the police shooting of Daunte Wright on Sunday.

According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, Monday’s Timberwolves game against the Brooklyn Nets was postponed.

No professional sporting events took place in Minnesota on Monday.

The NHL confirmed that Monday’s scheduled game between the St. Louis Blues and Minnesota Wild was postponed in the wake of the police shooting of Daunte Wright on Sunday. The MLB matchup between the Boston Red Sox and Minnesota Twins and the NBA showdown between the Brooklyn Nets and Minnesota Timberwolves were both postponed as well.
