Gronkowski dropped the first two attempts before reeling in the third to set the world record. The previous world record was 563 feet, set by YouTuber Tyler Toney in 2017.

Gronkowski played for the Wildcats from 2007-08, catching 75 passes for 1,197 yards and 16 touchdowns. The New England Patriots selected him in the second round of the 2010 NFL Draft. He is a four-time Super Bowl champion, five-time Pro Bowler, four-time All-Pro and now a world record holder.
