Elon WLAX: CAA Announces Bracket For 2021 Women’s Lacrosse Championship

RICHMOND, Va. – The Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) has announced the bracket for the 2021 CAA Women’s Lacrosse Championship presented by Primis. This year’s championship is scheduled for May 5 through May 9 and will be played at Sentara Park on the campus of James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Va.

Elon (9-2) will come into the championship as the No. 4 seed and take on fifth-seeded Towson on Wednesday, May 5 at 4 p.m. The winner of that contest will return to action in the semifinals on Friday, May 7 in a 4 p.m. matchup against top-seeded Drexel.

James Madison and Hofstra will square off in the second semifinal game on Friday at 7 p.m. The winners of the semifinal matchups will then compete for an automatic bid to the NCAA Division I Women’s Lacrosse Championships on Sunday, May 9 at noon.

There will be a limited selection of tickets available to the general public. However, capacity will be regulated due to state and local guidelines.
