  1. Wow, what happened to Dudley Panthers, Sr. Milan Summers?? Top 7 rusher in ’21 NCHSAA and #1 scoring leader. He went from ’20 3AA Defensive MVP to ’21 3AA Offensive MVP. Andy, how many high school player’s have accomplished that in a career. I mean, he has been done wrong again!, totally disrespectful!!

  2. Maybe the Dudley coaches might know more, but he(Milan Summers) seems like a logical choice to me and others too…Wonder if there could an add-on/write-in candidate approach on his behalf…
Might be time to start that campaign…
Has Milan Summers decided which college he will be attending???

  3. First, the athlete must be nominated by his coach.
Second, if the above is the case then the athlete would have to be selected by the coaching staff.
Third, if selected the athlete would have to accept the invitation assuming he is available for that week the All Star game takes place.

If playing in college I am certain the athlete would have to get permission from college coach to play especially if they are a D1 student athlete.

  4. Not sure if the coaching staff nominated him or not. I would not be surprised if they didn’t, historically that staff has not taken any initiative to help their athletes, just wins. Following him (Milan Summers) on social media he does not have a offer and still looking. One day politics and arrogance will not be the reason this kids Hope’s and dreams aren’t crushed.

  5. Start the campaign, he will get plenty of signatures from true fans and those that recognize his talent. He has it in his blood, dad was a RB for Dudley ’89.

  6. Kind of crazy too, that no Grimsley kids are on the West team….Williamson, Burnette, Albright, Dunkins, Tutuh, you would think one of those young men would have been selected….Won every game and won the State Title this year, but not one rep on the All-Star team…

  7. Over the years, the Dudley coaches have done a good job of promoting their players, based upon what I have seen…They have had a lot of their kids go on to play college football, and quite a few of the Dudley Panthers have played major college football….David Amerson, DeMario Pressley, Javon Edwards, Payton Page, Emmanuel Moseley, Hendon Hooker, Mehki Wall is going to be a big-time college football player, Michael Wyman and there are many more….

  8. Sport Fan II I don’t know where you get this false information from. Milan was nominated and a few more. And Dudley staff does alot to get there kids looks and recruited. All the staff can do is put they name out there. And it’s up to them colleges to offer him and coaches to select him for the all star game. So you don’t know what all Dudley staff does for their players on and off the field. There was a pandemic they hurt senior. They couldn’t get to camp and colleges couldn’t come to game. I hope one school would take a chance on this kid. He is a ball player.
