**********Men’s Game**********
East 116, West 92
Daniel Cooper, from Grimsley High School, had an excellent game for the West men…Cooper scored 20 points for the West men, with Cooper hitting for seven first half points, and then he came right back and scored thirteen points in the second half…Cooper tied Chris Ford for team-high scoring honors, with his 20 points…Cooper added 12 rebounds to his 20 points, and Daniel Cooper goes for a Double/Double, with his 20 points, and 12 boards/rebounds(Making the Whirlies proud)….Cooper exceeded all expectations, but those were the expectations of the fans, and not those of Daniel Cooper…He knew he could do it, and he went out and did it…In a game like this one, and such is the case in all All-Star games to a certain degree, you have to find and create your shot…Once a teammate gets the ball, it is usually me to the basket first and pass later…If you get a chance to take a shot you better take, and you better make, you have to make the most of your opportunities, and Daniel Cooper did exactly that…He shot 7-12 from the field, and he went 6-9, from the free throw line…
(Post-game interview with Daniel Cooper coming soon.)

Here is the line on Men’s Game MVP Terquavion Smith from the East….12-24 2-5 30 points…Smith had one follow jam that he did with his left hand, and that slam was out-of-this-world…Breon Pass, from Reidsville HS, and Smith’s future teammate at N.C. State, Pass had 13 points for the West….

A key note from the early stages of the game…The East opened the game on a 20-0 run in the first 4:40 of the game.
