East assistant coach is entering his 18th season as an assistant coach at Richmond Senior High where his teams have gone 200-34-1 in 17 seasons….has coached for 31 years and his teams have gone 304-83-1 and won 14 conference titles and made 22 playoff appearances, including winning 1 regional title and 1 state championship…prior to coaching at Richmond High, he served as the head freshman baseball and football coach at Scotland High and as the head boys and girls soccer coach at Carver Middle…served as the head JV baseball coach and as a varsity football assistant (offensive coordinator) and head JV football coach at Hoke County High…coached at Richmond High from ’02-’14, serving as offensive coordinator from ’07-‘14…returned to Scotland High as the associate head coach from ’15-‘16…now serves as the assistant head coach at Richmond Senior High…born in Laurinburg, NC…1986 graduate of Scotland High where he played football and was an All-Region performer in football…1990 graduate of UNC Pembroke…says “It is an absolute honor to be selected to coach in this all-star event and to represent a tradition rich program like Richmond Senior High School. East assistant coach is entering his 11th season as the head coach at Cardinal Gibbons High where he has posted a 96-26 record in 10 seasons…he has compiled a career record of 111-53 in 15 seasons, his teams have made 1 state championship appearance, and won 1 East Region championship and 5 conference titles, and have made 12 state playoff appearances and have been ranked in the top 10 in the state of NC in five of the last eight seasons…5 times named Conference Coach of the Year…prior to serving as the head coach at Cardinal Gibbons High, he played football at UCF, served as an assistant football coach at Broughton High, as the head football coach at North Raleigh Christian Academy, and as an offensive quality control coach at UNC…born in Media, PA…1990 graduate of Winter Park High (FL) where he competed in baseball, track & field and was named All-Conference and All-State in weightlifting and All-Conference, All-County, and All-Central Florida in football…1994 graduate of UCF…earned his Doctorate in Christian Leadership from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in 2009…says “It’s an incredible honor to be chosen to coach in the NCCA East-West All-Star game. West head coach is entering his second season as the head football coach at Page High…prior to coaching at Page, he served two seasons as the head coach at Thomasville High…he has compiled a career record of 102-50 in 12 seasons and his teams have won 3 conference titles and made 10 state playoff appearances, winning 1 state championship in ’09 with Reidsville High, and finishing as state runners-up in ’16 with Eastern Guilford…3 times named Conference Coach of the Year…named Carolina Panthers High School Coach of the Year and Guilford County Coach of the Year 2016…previously served as an assistant coach and as the head coach in football and as the head track coach at Reidsville High, as the head football coach and head track coach at Person High and then at Eastern Guilford High, and as the head football coach at Thomasville High…named 2016 Men’s Track Coach of the Year at Eastern Guilford High and served as an assistant track coach for the 2017 state champion Eastern Guilford High…born in Reidsville, NC…1995 graduate of Reidsville High were he competed in football, earning All-Conference honors, and in track and field…1999 graduate of Guilford College…Masters from Delta State University…says “It is a privilege and an honor to be named the head coach of the West All-Stars. West assistant coach retired in 2019 after 11 seasons as the head football coach at East Rutherford High where he compiled a career record of 61-74 in 11 seasons and his teams made 9 playoff appearances…previously served as head volleyball coach and assistant girls basketball and assistant baseball coach at Cool Springs Middle… also previously served at East Rutherford High as an assistant football and head JV coach in football, as a track assistant coach, and as an assistant baseball coach on 4 state championship teams…born in Rutherford County, NC…1990 graduate of East Rutherford High where he played football, twice earning Player of the Week honors and receiving the Coaches Award, and baseball where he also received the Coaches Award…1995 graduate of Western Carolina University…says “It is a great honor to be selected to coach in the East-West All-Star game. West assistant coach is entering his 6th season as an assistant football coach at Wilkes Central High where he also serves as the athletic director…as a head coach, he compiled a career record of 85-54 in 11 seasons at Hibriten High, winning 4 conference titles and making 8 state playoff appearances…named ’02 NC Preps 2A Coach of the Year…twice named Conference Coach of the Year…member of the Hibriten High School Sports Hall of Fame…prior to serving at Wilkes Central High, he served at South Caldwell High (asst. football, track, AD), Freedom High (asst. football, track), Mooresville High (asst. football, track), South Caldwell High (asst. football, track), East Burke High (asst. football, track), Hibriten High (asst. football, head football, track, AD), Wilkes Central High (asst. football), Bessemer City High (asst. football, AD)…born in Lenior, NC…1980 graduate of Hibriten High where he played football…1984 graduate of Lenoir Rhyne…says “This is a great honor and an exciting time. West assistant coach is entering his 6th season as the head football coach at Burns High where he has compiled a career record of 34-26 in 5 seasons and his teams have made 4 state playoff appearances…named Spring ‘21 Conference Coach of the Year…named ’16 Conference Coach of the Year…prior to serving as the head coach at Burns, he served as an assistant football coach…then served as an assistant football coach at Shelby High, winning 3 state championships…also served as an assistant and head track and field coach at Shelby High, 3 times being named Conference Coach of the Year…born in Cleveland County…1995 graduate of Burns High where competed in basketball and baseball and was twice named All-Conference in football, playing on the 1994 state championship team…1999 graduate of Appalachian State University…says “It is an extreme honor and blessing to be selected to coach in the East-West All-Star game.
