Excellent middle relief from the Hopper’s bullpen on Thursday night, as Bear Bellomy came in and he pitched the fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh innings for the Hoppers…Bellomy was very efficient, as he gave up No Runs, on One Hit, while walking one and striking out one Hickory Crawdad batter….Bellomy gave up little, or nothing in his four innings of work on the hill….

Hickory starter Zak Kent was very sharp on Thursday night, as he got the start for the ‘Dads and worked seven solid innings, as Kent gave up no ground to the Greensboro Grasshoppers…Kent allowed No Runs, on two hits, with one walk, and thirteen(13) very big strikeouts…The Hickory pitching staff struck out 15 Hopper batters on Thursday night, and the Hoppers could never get anything going, at the plate….
