Veteran Ha Ha Clinton-Dix has found another opportunity to resurrect his NFL career.

According to Kevin Patra of the league’s website, the one-time Pro Bowl safety has signed with the San Francisco 49ers. Clinton-Dix hasn’t been seen as an active player since he joined the Dallas Cowboys in April 2020, where he stayed until early September when he was a surprise cut ahead of regular-season action.

Clinton-Dix visited with the Las Vegas Raiders in March of this year but did not put pen to paper on an agreement.

The 28-year-old first entered the league when the Green Bay Packers selected him in the first round of the 2014 draft, and he spent over four seasons with the Packers and earned his only Pro Bowl nod in 2016.

Clinton-Dix enjoyed a relatively successful 2019 campaign with the Chicago Bears when he recorded 78 total tackles, two interceptions (one that he returned for a touchdown), two fumble recoveries, and five pass breakups. He didn’t play in 2020 after he and the Cowboys parted ways.
