Landon Kimrey is stepping down as the head baseball coach at Northern Guilford High School

Landon Kimrey announcement from his Facebook Page:

After struggling for some time to make this decision, I’ve finally come to peace with resigning as the head baseball coach at Northern Guilford High School. I have lived and breathed Nighthawk baseball for 12 years, I have no regrets and I will always cherish every moment of it. I know that there is a lot that I will miss, but I look forward to some new opportunities and much more family time.

For me and my staff, it has always been about the players… every single one of the guys on the alumni banner and our current players. I’m equally as proud of all 12 of our teams. I’m proud of what they accomplished on the field, but much more proud of the employees, college graduates, professionals, fathers and husbands that they have become.

The Nighthawk baseball program is a different kind of special and I’ll forever be grateful to have been a part of it. The Nighthawk baseball family and that baseball diamond off of Spencer Dixon Road will always hold a special place in my heart.
I look forward to watching many more games with that familiar end…..

Purple Reign!!!!!
