HIGH POINT, N.C. – The High Point University Women’s soccer team to Campbell Saturday evening inside Vert Stadium in HPU’s Big South Opener.

Brandi Fontaine: We did not get the game started how we had hoped to, we had some momentum but then we got frazzled in a few moments unfortunately that took over. I couldn’t be prouder of the team and how they responded after those two goals went in. The rest of the game especially in the second half was the team we have been waiting for to arrive. The fight they had, they played for each other, they competed, they looked for opportunities going to the goal I could not have asked for a better response. I am extremely proud of the second half and we will build off of this heading into Asheville on Wednesday.
