Fourth quarter and Jamari Coles is on the run for Smith, Smith gets a QB keeper from their backup QB Jaiden Carr, still on and now at the controls for Smith’s QB, Dequaceion Ceasar…After SG gets the ball back again, Southern gets two first down runs from QB Ferere, and then Ferere hits James Squires for a first down pass and it is first and goal again for SG…Smith gang tackles SG and SG comes up short on an incomplete pass on third down, and then Smith gets a game-closer as Ty’Wan Suggs picks off SG’s QB Ferere,
but Smith can’t run out the clock yet and it will take another Smith interception of Ferere, this one by C.J. Neeley to seal the game, and that is what Smith does, the Golden Eagles hold off the SG Storm, and Smith runs out the clock, winning this football game, 16-8…
