This Week’s Steak n Shake Players of the Week are from Northern Guilford and Page High Schools

OFFENSE
Jack Mercer Northern Guilford HS, was 9-of-16 passing, for 88 yards with a TD pass, and he had 13 carries for 104 yards, and 2 TD’s on the ground, for the Northern Guilford Nighthawks, in their win last Friday night, over the Northwest Guilford Vikings…192 Total Yards and 3 touchdowns for Mercer, vs. NWG.

DEFENSE
Jerron Blackwell(Page HS) on defense with 5 Total Tackles and all five were Solo Tackles….He caused two fumbles, had a QB Sack, plus intercepted a pass and took it back 28 yards for a Touchdown…Not a bad overall defensive game right there…This was in the Page Pirates’ win over the Western Guilford Hornets.
