APP State super senior wide receiver Thomas Hennigan(Northwest Guilford High School) extended his FBS record for career starts to 59. The previous record of 57 was held by Clemson OL Mitch Wyatt (2015-18) and Alabama OL Ross Pierschbacher (2015-18).
Thomas Hennigan, who caught four passes for 29 yards, took over sole possession of the Appalachian State University school record for career receptions. With 212, he moved ahead of previous record holder Andrew Peacock, who racked up 208 catches from 2010-13. Among active, full-time FBS players, Hennigan ranks No. 3 in career catches.
