Here we go with our Danny Pigge’s Pigskin Preview, with the Murphy Wainer Orthopedic Specialists Game of the Week, and the SayYes Guilford Kickoff, plus the Sprinkle Oil Pregame Show…..

Tonight we turn our attention to the Dudley Panthers(11-1) as they host the Kings Mountain Mountaineers(10-2), at “The Tarp”/Tarpley Stadium, on the campus of James B. Dudley High School, on Lincoln Street, here in Greensboro, and coming up on
GreensboroSports Radio.

Game time is 7:30 with the SayYes Guilford kickoff, and we hit the pregame show, from Sprinkle Oil, at 7pm tonight…All of this on
GreensboroSports Radio…Cam Newton came back to the Carolina Panthers team last Sunday, and tonight, Dennis White returns to our broadcast team for the Dudley Panthers football game, on GreensboroSports Radio…Don Tilley out after surgery this past week, and Dennis White, back on board tonight….Dennis will be with us for the game from Dudley’s Tarpley Stadium, where the Panthers will take on the Mountaineers…

Let’s take a look at some of the Dudley Panthers’ offensive leaders and their numbers….

Dudley QB Jahmier Slade for the season is 81-132, for 1,778 yards, with 25 TD’s/3 INT’s….Plus he has 472 yards on 54 carries, with 4 TD’s…Slade with 2,250 total yards for the year, and responsible for 29 touchdowns…

Dudley RB Michael Shaw with a total of 1,023 total rushing yards and 72 yards receiving for 1,095 total yards…Shaw with 14 TD’s total on the year…

WR Mehki Wall(Dudley HS) for the season with 1,652 All-Purpose Yards, with 778 receiving yards, 158 rushing yards, 670 yards in punt returns, and 46 yards in kickoff returns…Wall with 15 TD’s and 5 two-point conversions, and 100 total points scored on the year…

RB/SB Rory/RJ Baker for Dudley HS with 1,729 all-purpose yards, with 939 rushing yards, 588 receiving yards, 116 on punt returns, and 86 on kickoff return yards…Baker with 11 touchdowns rushing and 9 TD’s receiving…Also a Baker TD on a punt return, so Baker with 21 TD’s and 2 two-point conversions on the year…130 points scored for Baker on the year…

RB/DB KJ Morehead for Dudley HS with 647 yards rushing and 116 yards receiving…5 TD’s on the ground and 4 TD’s by of the air…Morehead with 822 all-purpose yards and the 9 TD’s….58 yards on kickoff returns by KJ Morehead…

Freshman WR Nasir Newkirk for Dudley HS with 330 yards receiving/3 TD’s on the season…
++++++++Jonathan Neal, Trevon Humphrey and Darius McLendon among the leaders up front on the offensive line for the Dudley Panthers…Jyheem Pittman, Logan Wright, Austin Lloyd, and Braedan McCall set the pace along the defensive line for Dudley…Jeremiah Barnes and Jaylan Richmond leading the charges at linebacker for the Panthers and in the secondary you have Steven Davis II, Elvis Berry, Shawn Seagraves, and KJ Morehead…Also in the secondary you have help from Sofiyan Oumarou…

The Dudley front seven looks to keep pressure on the Kings Mountain quarterback Lamont Littlejohn…Littlejohn a 6’1/185 pound junior…Littlejohn 96-171 yards passing on the season, for 1,455 yards, with 9 TD’s/4 INT’s…Littlejohn 7-10 for 138 yards and 1 TD pass vs. West Charlotte, last Friday night…Zero(0) rushing yards this season for Littlejohn…

Top rusher for Kings Mountain is Robert Kendrick, a 5’8/152 pound sophomore running back, with 600 yards on the season…Five touchdowns for Kendrick on the year…Kendrick with 22 carries for 130 yards and one TD vs. West Charlotte last week….
Zero(0) pass receptions for Kendrick this season….

Other top running backs for Kings Mountain are Thomas Feemster with 352 yards, Caleb Holland with 343 yards, and Micah Ward with 322 yards…1,928 rushing yards for Kings Mountain this season…

Top receiver for Kings Mountain is D’Andre Hoyle, with 616 receiving yards, good for 7 TD’s on the season…Hoyle with zero(0) catches/receptions last week vs. West Charlotte, but he did have 8 solo tackles vs. the West Charlotte Lions…One Tackle for a Loss and Two Pass Deflections for Hoyle vs. West Charlotte…Hoyle a 6’0/155 pound senior for the Kings Mountain Mountaineers…Bryson Brown with 327 receiving yards and 3 touchdowns on the season for Kings Mountain…Kings Mountain with 1,789 receiving yards on the year…

Jake Lloyd with 306 receiving yards on 26 receptions and 1 TD on the year for the Mountaineers, but Lloyd had 5 receptions for 104 yards vs. West Charlotte…Lloyd also with 10 solo tackles, and 1 Pass Deflection vs. West Charlotte…Lloyd 5’11/170 pound junior, and we think he is head coach Greg Lloyd’s son…To us, Lloyd looks to a be Mountaineer to keep an eye on…He wears #4….Lloyd with 90 tackles on the season, and Micah Ward with 77 total tackles…Lloyd also with 7 pass deflections on the season….

Defensive end Curtis Simpson with 8 Sacks on the season for the KM defense, and LB AJ Richardson with 7 Sacks on the year…Simpson with 45 tackles, and Richardson with 66 total tackles…D’Andre Hoyle with 6 Interceptions and 10 pass deflections this season for Kings Mountain…

To what we can discern, Dudley has the better overall athletes, and Dudley will look to turn them loose, and let those athletes run…Mehki Wall can hurt you many different ways when he has his hands on the football and he is running…Same story for RJ Baker, Baker can hurt you in many different ways, and he can take off running in many different directions…Jahmier Slade will need to lead his Panthers, and we look for him to do just that…Kings Mountain has a steady and solid defense, but if the Dudley Panthers can make them work, and make them chase, Dudley can run them right out of the place/Tarpley Stadium…

The Kings Mountain offense does not compare to Dudley’s offense, mainly because Dudley has so many athletes that can run like they are at a track meet…If Dudley is on, the Panthers have a very good chance to win and take this game by two(2) touchdowns…And we will leave it at that…Dudley defense on the move and stopping Kings Mountain, and Dudley taking this game by two TD’s…
