Let’s go ahead and take these teams to win….Tarboro, Shelby, Dudley and Chambers….Let’s take Dudley over JH Rose, 27-7…..

Those from Rose/Greenville to be on the lookout for….
#4 RB Michael Allen with 1,157 yards rushing on 153 carries and he has run for 18 TD’s…Allen has 6 one hundred rushing games on the season, with his biggest night being this past Friday night vs. Jacksonville with 154 yards, on 17 carries, with 4 TD’s….Allen a speedster, and a Four-Star recruit, headed to N.C. State in the Fall of 2022, or maybe in January of 2022…
The other top RB for Rose is #10 Klavon Brown, with 155 carries for 801 yard, with 12 TD’s…Brown rushed for 116 yards and a TD vs. Jacksonville, last Friday night…
The QB 1 for Rose is #1 Will Taylor who has gone 191-328 passing for 3,033 yards, with 31 TD passes and 13 interceptions….200 yards per game passing for Taylor, and 186 yards and 0 TD’s vs. Jacksonville last Friday night…
Top Receiver for Greenville Rose is #6, Jayden Grimes, with 1,182 yards receiving on 72 receptions, with 11 TD’s….
Second in receiving for Greenville Rose is RB Michael Allen, with 610 receiving yards, on 38 receptions, with 8 more TD’s….Allen with 1,888 all-purpose yards, and 26 TD’s…
The number 3 receiver for Rose, is #2 Kenderius KD Geddis, with 592 yards on 31 receptions, good for 7 TD’s….

There you go with an early-entry look at Greenville’s JH Rose High School Rampants…Lots of Michael Allen to go around, and he is a speedster…..Coach Will Bland, the head coach for Greenville Rose also addressed the speed of Dudley’s Mehki Wall and RJ Baker on Monday…Dudley feels like with the speed factor, they will need to try and contain Allen, and Rose will need to try and do the same thing, in facing Wall and Baker…Coach Will Bland said his team has played tough competition this season, in teams such as New Bern, Havelock and Jacksonville twice…See more on this, on the Rose season schedule above…

Back on Michael Allen, Coach Blande hopes to get Allen the football 20-25 times per game…And the other run chances will go to Greenville’s Klavon Brown…Both teams have what the coaches call, break-neck speed…Coach Bland says that lots of Rose previous coaches have helped him get this far, to the 3-A Championship Game…Coach Davis says he has to work on being a coach and a dad in this Championship Week…Coach Davis says at the game he will be All Business and at home he wants to All Husband-All Father…Coach Davis is coaching his son, Steven Davis II in the big 3-A State Title game, and Coach Davis says this is an experience that means the world to him…Just to be there, experiencing all of this, with son along by his side, he would not trade this moment for anything in the world….

For the Dudley Panthers this will be their 7th State Championship Game appearance, with Dudley having won four previous state titles…The last Dudley State Championship came in 2016, and Hendon Hooker quarterbacked that Dudley team…Dudley’s job according to Coach Davis is to stay on schedule this week, and do everything like it was a regular-season game…Keep up the same practice schedule, and do everything the same way that Dudley would do in a regular game…Coach Davis said that when Dudley was in the title game with Hendon Hooker at the helm, it as a little bit different than it is this year…Coach says this year’s Dudley team is a collection of many very good players….Not a lot of standouts on this team, maybe like a Hooker, but you a have a bunch of talented young men, all seeking and going after the same thing for a common cause….They all want to bring that State Championship banner back to Dudley High School…Dudley has lots of talent on both sides of the ball, but it is a large assortment of players, and not a boatload of standouts…These kids all have that same common cause in mind, and again, that is to become State Champions…..

Picking the Winners again, we look to Tarboro 1-A Champs, Shelby 2-A Champs, Dudley 3-A Champs, and Chambers 4-A Champs…Does everyone else see it the same way?????

Dudley over Greenville Rose, 27-7 is what we have here….Anybody got what we have???

Rose defeated Grimsley for the 2005 4-A Football Title at Keenan Stadium, in Chapel Hill…Rose knocked off Southeast Guilford and Northern Guilford on the way to the NCHSAA 3-A State Baseball title this past Spring of 2021…Rose traveled to Greensboro, to face both Southeast and Northern Guilford, and we were there for both of those games…Rose has a very feisty fan-base….
