Zach Davis joins Hi-Toms baseball as Assistant General Manager

High Point/Thomasville – The High Point-Thomasville HiToms have announced the addition of Zach Davis as the HiToms Assistant General Manager.

Joining the HiToms staff with several years of experience in the collegiate and youth sports arena, Davis arrives at Finch Field on the heels of a successful tenure in the sports department at the Ruby C. Hunt YMCA in Shelby, NC. Serving as a facility supervisor and youth sports program manager in Cleveland County, Davis also pioneered the creation of an AAU basketball program called the Cleveland County Reach.

A 2019 graduate of Gardner-Webb University, Davis served as a student-staff member on the Bulldogs first-ever NCAA Division I Basketball participant when the Bulldogs fell to eventual national champion Virginia.

“”I’m looking forward to being a part of the HiTom family,” Davis said. “And I can’t think of any other place I’d rather be.”

Currently pursuing a master’s degree in sport management from Gardner-Webb, Davis is the recipient of GW’s Godbold School of Business graduate fellow sport management scholarship and will be with the HiToms organization for two seasons.

A native of Rutherfordton, North Carolina, Davis will spearhead the Tommies group sales and community outreach programs as well as coordinate the HiToms highly successful Read Around the Bases initiative.
