Glenn broke open a close game with an early second half surge to defeat Reagan 44-36 for it’s second Central Piedmont 4A win in as many starts. The visiting Bobcats held the Raiders to two field goals over a 14-minute stretch spanning the halftime break & managed enough offense against the stingy zone by the home team to earn the win.

Reagan led until the 4:31 mark of the second quarter (13-11) but went into a prolonged drought from the floor as Glenn steadily increased its advantage, leading by as many as 12 (36-24) with 5:30 left in the game. The Raiders shaved the lead to six (40-34) over the next three minutes but could get no closer down the stretch.

Zion Dixon led Glenn in scoring with 15 & Yorel Harris added 11 points & a game-high eight rebounds. Jalil Rogers led Reagan with 9 points & five rebounds while senior center Quinn Corbin has eight points & seven rebounds, including three stick-backs for baskets in the first half.

Reagan continues CPC play Friday on the road at Davie County before opening Frank Spencer Holiday Classic on Monday at North Forsyth with a first-round matchup with Carver.
