The 2019 All-Pro was limited to just seven games this season due to multiple injuries and played only three contests in 2020. He played in 48 consecutive regular-season games to begin his career from 2017 through 2019.

Despite the limited action this year, the 25-year-old still ranks a close second on the Panthers in rushing attempts (99) and rushing yards (442), while placing second in receptions (37) and third in receiving yards (343).

McCaffrey is among a host of star NFL players who tested positive for COVID-19, was placed in the league’s protocols, or was put on the reserve/COVID-19 list on Tuesday alone. Others include Kansas City Chiefs lineman Chris Jones, Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and eight members of the Cleveland Browns.
