Copper Kupp has been a darn good receiver for the Los Angeles Rams since they made him a third-round pick out of Eastern Washington back in 2017.

The 6-foot-2 receiver averaged 72 catches for nearly 900 yards with six touchdowns throughout his first four NFL seasons.

However, Kupp has taken it to a whole new level with Matthew Stafford tossing him the rock during the 2021 season.

The 28-year-old entered Tuesday’s Week 15 matchup against the division-rival Seattle Seahawks leading the league in receptions (113), receiving yards (1,489) and receiving touchdowns (12). This tells us just what type of player he’s been for a team that boasts Super Bowl expectations.

Kupp has now entered Rams lore. By virtue of this touchdown pass from Stafford in the third quarter of Tuesday’s game, Kupp passed the great Isaac Bruce for the most receptions in a season in Rams history with 120.

Not too shabby from a dude who was selected behind fellow wide receivers John Ross and Zay Jones in the 2017 NFL Draft. To put this into perspective, those two have combined for 199 receptions in their careers.

To pass Bruce on the Rams’ all-time list is also a pretty darn good achievement considering that the Hall of Famer was part of the “Greatest Show on Turf” with Kurt Warner, Torry Holt and Marshall Faulk.
