No Let-Down, plenty of Get-Down for the (16-0) Northern Guilford girls basketball team…The gas pedal is to the floor, and NG Nighthawks’ girls basketball coach Kim Furlough is driving the team hard, and her girls are responding…Eighteen points from the point guard spot with Malena and Christian Delisa combining for the 18, and they missed very few layups…The Delisas cracked the Page defense wide open, and Jasmine/Jazzy Harris was not having a problem penetrating the lane for Northern…Everyone who played for the Nighthawks contributed to the overall team effort, and that seems to be the status quo for NG, team effort…They find each other, and like we said after the Grimsley game, they know each other’s moves and cuts, like the back of their hands…

Larruel Grace Zlotkowski, Emma Wagoner, Lizzie Gram, Peeden, Burnham, Mulry, Katlyn Newsome, the list just keeps on running, and so do the Nighthawks…The good thing about Northern running the floor, is that the ‘Hawks know how to finish with the ball…On the breaks, their secondary passes are as good as you will ever see, from a girls basketball team…They break, they cut, they look for the open teammate that is cutting to the basket, and the most important thing is, Coach Furlough’s girls know how to FINISH…..

They move on to their next encounter which will be a home game this coming Friday night, versus the Southwest Guilford Cowgirls…SWG is (13-1/7-1), and the only loss for Southwest this season, was back when Southwest fell to Northern, 58-26, back on December 17, at The Ranch, that’s at Southwest Guilford High School…Big matchup with SWG(13-1/7-1) at NG(16-0/8-0) on Friday…Can NG keep that season-long Unbeaten streak alive??? Has SWG matured and improved since falling real hard to Northern, back in December??? Friday night will tell the tale-of-the-tape….

Page will be at home on Friday night, versus the Northwest Guilford Vikings….The most recent meeting between NWG and Page, was back in the HAECOisHiring.com Tournament, at the end of the year, at the Greensboro Coliseum Special Events Center…Page defeated Northwest Guilford, 58-41, back on December 28…

The Northern Guilford girls just keep on winning, and they seem to be very comfortable, in their march toward March….
