Game Report on Bishop McGuinness-WS Preps Boys Basketball:Bishop battles back, but falls to the Phoenix

The Bishop McGuinness Villains took on the Winston-Salem Prep Phoenix in the Northwest Piedmont conference tournament championship game Friday night. After falling behind by as many as 14 the Villains clawed all the way back in a 2nd half rally to have a shot to tie and the end of regulation. The Villains were paced by senior Dawson McAlhany who had a double-double with 27 points. Sophomore John Campbell added 16 points while shooter Riggs Handy poured in 12. Bishop will find out their first round opponent in the state playoffs on Saturday.
