The Bishop McGuinness Villains closed out a 20 win season with a tough loss on the road to the 5-seed South Stokes Sauras in the 2nd round of the NCHSAA 1A-State playoffs. Senior and 1,000 scorer Dawson McAlhany concluded his high school career with a team leading 17 points and 8 rebounds. Sharp shooter Riggs Handy poured in 13 points in the effort.
