SPARKS GLENCOE, Md. — The High Point University women’s lacrosse team dropped a neutral site contest to #8 Michigan 14-4 on Wednesday afternoon at the US Lacrosse Headquarters. Abby Hormes had two goals on the day she has 12 so far this season.

Lyndsey Boswell: “Today we lacked some urgency and didn’t quite follow the game plan as we talked about this week. Michigan is a great team, we knew going in that they would play us hard and make us earn everything. I was really proud of Sophia And Liz, they came off the bench and made some big plays, that will pay off moving forward as we try to figure out who can put 60 minutes together for us. Defense also played a solid game and though the score may not fully show it, they are working hard to find solutions and ways to get better each day, I’m really proud of that unit. We are looking ahead and excited to be back to work tomorrow in preparation for Mount St Mary’s.”
