RALEIGH, N.C. — NC State guard Cam Hayes(Greensboro Day School/Smith High School) has officially entered his name into the transfer portal following the 2021-22 season, sources tell Pack Pride. Hayes entered the portal coming off his sophomore season with three yearS of eligibility still available heading into next winter.
Travis Branham of 247Sports was the first to report the news of Hayes entering the portal.
Last season, Hayes averaged just 7.0 points, 2.3 rebounds and 2.1 assists to 1.4 turnovers per game in 20.9 minutes on the court. But those numbers took a dive in ACC play, where Hayes averaged 4.8 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.6 assists to 1.6 turnovers in 18.1 minutes per game.
