The Grimsley Athletics Booster Club has learned that a decision has been made by the Guilford County School Board, that will result in a tragic loss for the Grimsley Athletic community…
The DISCUSSION TO DEMOLISH has turned into the DECISION TO DEMOLISH…
The baseball field, softball field and practice field located behind the away side of Jamieson Stadium will demolished in the near future…
Our numerous attempts to obtain more info on this project have failed and we continue to be left in the #INTHEDARK…

Teams that will not have a practice and or a game field include…
GHS teams : Softball, JV & Varsity Baseball, Field Hockey, Cross Country, Women’s Lacrosse, Men’s Lacrosse JV & Varsity, Women’s Soccer JV & Varsity and Men’s Soccer JV & Varsity
Kiser teams : Softball, Boys & Girls Soccer and Football
There is NO money allocated to rebuild our fields at this time.
There is NO guarantee that transportation will be provided to the teams that will be displaced.
There is NO contract with an architect to create real drawings or start on the rebuild process of our fields.
There is NO guarantee that the Bond 2022 will pass and NO guarantee that if it does that money will be allocated to rebuild our fields.
