Round One/Game Six on Sunday at Winston-Salem Dash, with the Greensboro Grasshoppers topping the WS Dash, 6-1…Three-hitter from the Greensboro Grasshoppers pitching staff, with five innings, and eight(8) strikeouts from Hoppers’ starter Jared Jones, to claim the win, his first of the season(1-0)….Just one walk/2 hits/ and 0 runs off of Jones; then Ford, Yean, and Carey came on to finish things off, for the Hoppers pitching staff…Looks to be one of the strongest wins of the young season from the Hoppers, and their hitting was paced by Matt Gorski and Jackson Glenn, who both homered for the GSO Hoppers…Gorski with a two-run HR, and Glenn, a solo shot for GSO…
Final score from Sunday afternoon, at Truist Stadium, in Winston-Salem, N.C., home of the WS Dash, in front of 2,069 fans, in a game that took only 2:02 to play…And as the old man/long-time baseball fan said, give me some more of those two hour, and two minute games…
