++++++++++Ran into former Grimsley Whirlie and Western Carolina Catamount QB Jeff Gilbert today/Friday afternoon…Jeff said he is keeping up with the local sports news at GreensboroSports.com…Jeff said he played youth baseball for the Glenwood Bears, and his coaches were Don Tilley and Wayne Butler….Jeff was talking some serious men’s adult softball today, with former Northwest Guilford HS campus sheriff Greg Fox…Talking local sports today, at Bur-Mil Park….Jeff Gilbert is one of the top high school quarterbacks to ever come out of Guilford County, and might just be the top college quarterback, in the history of Western Carolina University football…Got to give this guy a BIG shoutout for all that he has done over the years….++++++++++
(When I got to the Grimsley-Northern Guilford game tonight, Nolan Albright was throwing for Grimsley, and Conner Roy was throwing for NG….Eli Coll finished the game on the hill/mound for Grimsley…We’re thinking Jackson Roberts might have seen some mound time for NG.)
