Brad White has stepped down as the head coach of the Northeast Guilford Rams Baseball Team

from Cheri Sharp, Athletic Director at Northeast Guilford HS:

NEG Baseball will have a new coach next season.

Brad White has decided to step down as the head baseball coach at Northeast High School.

He has been a part of the program since 1999.

I am grateful for Brad and all that he has done to lead the Northeast baseball program. He has had the privilege to work with a team of coaches that have stuck together through it all.

Brad will be missed as the baseball coach that had the best looking field in the Region.

I will miss Coach White and the leadership, structure and accountability he expected from the baseball players throughout his program. I wish him the best in all he does. He will always be a part of the Ram Family.

**********Coach Sharp is right-on-the-money about that Northeast Guilford Baseball Field…One of the best in the state…Coach White tooks his field-keeping talents over to the Stoner-White Stadium, and he helped them build a mound that anyone in the nation would be proud of…The infield grass, the mound, the entire field complex, Coach White knew how to handle it all, anywhere he went…

Lots of fond memories taking the phone calls from Coach White back in his early days as the head coach, and even during his time as the assistant baseball coach, when he would call in on game nights, and send me the NEG scores, and game details…Lots of those calls from over the years, and always good to hear from Coach Brad White, or coach Chris Suggs, there at NEG…

You had the days of Jaylin Davis, Caleb McCann, and Jacob McCann, Luis Paula, Josiel Colon, Caelen Cannady, Parker Strader, Big Harry(the third baseman) and many more top NEG baseball players….

Best of Luck as Coach Brad White, as heads down the road, and on to a new baseball clubhouse that he will call home…..He even got to coach his son, at NEG, so for Coach White, we say Good Night/Good Day to you….**********
