Carolina has averaged 3.57 goals per game at home, contrasted with only 1.67 when on the road. The Rangers themselves have interesting home/road splits as well, averaging two less goals per game when skating as the visitor.
The true disparity comes when looking at Carolina’s goals allowed. On the road they’ve let up 4.33 goals per game, but at home, where they are tonight, only 1.14, the lowest mark of all postseason teams.
