Page High School hires Jeff Lochrie as men’s soccer coach..

Page High School is excited to announce the hiring of Jeff Lochrie as our next men’s soccer coach.

Coach Lochrie is a native of Austin, Texas and graduate of Westwood High School. Coach Lochrie was a two-year Captain and four-year starter at UNC-Greensboro. He helped lead the UNCG program to a #1 ranking for 8 weeks in 2004. He has an extensive soccer background as a player, coach, and director.

Coach Lochrie competed professionally with the Carolina Dynamo and the Wilmington Hammerheads. Additionally, he’s served in various director roles with local soccer clubs in North Carolina. He worked extensively with the Guilford Futbol Club (now NC Fusion) and Triangle United Soccer Association (TUSA).

Coach Lochrie also served as the PYSL Youth Academy Director and worked with NC Fusion as a staff coach. His high school head coaching experience includes stops at Greensboro Day School, Carlisle High School, and most recently Northwest Guilford High School. Coach Lochrie lead the Carlisle High School to multiple state playoff appearances including a VISAA State Championship in 2018.

Page High School principal, Erik Naglee issued the following statement.
“ We are excited to bring someone of Coach Lochrie’s caliber to the men’s soccer program. We know he will expect great effort in the classroom and on the field, which will lead to continued success for Page soccer.”

Page High School athletic director, Matthew Harder issued the following statement.

“Coach Lochrie brings a wealth of soccer knowledge and experience to the Page program. His success as both a player and coach during his soccer career will play dividends for the Page men’s soccer program moving forward. We are very excited for the future of our program with Coach Lochrie at the helm.
