A leadoff single by Fabricio Macias put runners on the corners, and then a wild pitch from the Dash’ Karan Patel allowed Lopez to score and put the Grasshoppers ahead 5-4…(The Grasshoppers end up scoring the game-winning run, on a Wild Pitch.)
Shawn Goosenberg pinch-ran for Harvin Mendoza as the ghost runner for the Dash in the bottom of the frame, but Michell Miliano sent Winston-Salem down in order to preserve a 5-4 Greensboro victory. Miliano got the save in Wandi Montout’s winning effort, while Patel got the loss for the Dash.
