This was a fast-moving game from start to finish…The time of game was two hours and thirteen minutes, and this game brought back memories of games nearly 15 years ago now, when Hoppers’ starting pitcher Graham Taylor had two games in the first half of the season, where the games went one hour and forty-eight minutes, and one hour and forty-five minutes…Have not seen any game come close to those fast-moving close contests, and maybe we will never will…Graham Taylor worked quick, and there was no pitch-clock, back when he was throwing/pitching for the Greensboro Grasshoppers…
Even with all that being said, Speedy Gonzalez would have been right at home, at First National Bank Field, on Thursday night, and Graham Taylor probably would have been saying, “can we move a little faster”???
